This package contains 22 versions of SP data from v22 to v75 and the Coding Tool v2.5.0. This brings your standard BMW tools up to the desired data level – for coding with NCS Expert, programming with WinKFP, and diagnostics with INPA. The Coding Tool installs the data automatically, so you don't have to copy files manually.

What is SP Data?

SP data is the data basis for the standard tools. It contains the descriptions and program versions of the control units required by NCS Expert, WinKFP, and INPA. If the data level is too old, newer control units will not be detected or cannot be coded. With the wide selection of versions, you will find the right version for your vehicle.

For Which Models?

• E-series from E36 to E89 (approx. model years 1998–2013)
• The SP data is sorted by series – the newer the version, the more control units are included
• F and G models are generally coded with E-Sys and are not part of this package

Quick Guide: Install SP Data with the Coding Tool

1. Launch the Coding Tool and set the folders for NCS Expert, EDIABAS, and WinKFP under “Default folder settings”.
2. Click “Select SP-source” and select the folder for the desired series – it is best to start with the oldest series.
3. Click “Update SP-daten”. Newer files will be adopted (“update”), identical ones will remain (“remain”).
4. Click “Update WinKFP”. The WinKFP data will be replaced, and a backup with the date and time will be created automatically.
5. Repeat steps 2–4 for each additional series.

The guide is for orientation only – there is no support for the installation and use of SP data.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which SP data version do I need?
It depends on the software level of your vehicle. Usually, the latest version is the best choice, as it contains the most control units.

Do I have to download all 338 GB?
No. You only download the version you need – usually approx. 15 GB.

Does it work with INPA?
Yes. The data is also used by INPA and EDIABAS.

Can I use several versions at the same time?
Only one data level is active at a time. However, you can install a different version at any time with the Coding Tool.

Does it also work with F or G models?
These models are generally coded with E-Sys. For this, we recommend our E-Sys package.

How do I receive the data?
After payment, you will automatically receive a download link by email.
